Five test positive after attending birthday party in Mancherial
Five people have tested positive for coronavirus after attending a birthday party in Bellampalli of Mancherial district.

A constable who is residing at Singareni quarters in Ganga colony of Bellamballi held his son birthday celebrations on a grand note by inviting his relatives, colleagues and Singareni employees. Three days after the party, the constable has gone to an RMP doctor with a high fever. Two days later, he again went to a private hospital from where he was shifted to an isolation centre. He was tested positive on June 8.
Alerted over the incident, the officials traced 24 people who took part in the birthday party and shifted them to quarantine centre. So far, five among the 24 tested positive and the results of the rest of the people are awaited.
It is learned that one of the five people is a singareni worker who attended the duty on June 4. His primary contacts are yet to be traced.
