Over 1,000 guests attended a wedding that took place in Warangal on Thursday that held seven days after the groom returned from France. The groom was supposed to be on home-quarantine for two weeks, skipped it. He neither wore the mask or followed any precautions advised for those who put under quarantine.

It is learned that the groom returned from France on March 12 along with a friend. Though they were put under quarantine, they went to Warangal for the wedding.

This comes after Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao announced precautionary measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus. The wedding halls were banned for wedding and those who had already made the arrangements were asked to opt for a low-key event.

Though the government announced to stay from the mass gatherings, the lavish wedding of a France returnee has now caught the attention. On Friday, three more people tested positive for coronavirus including two Indonesian nationals and a woman arrived in the city from London.
