Hyderabad : On a tip-off, Uppal police laid trap on Nagole road and nabbed a person, K Mahesh (24) for smuggling 20 kgs of ganja worth Rs 2 lakhs. Police also seized a two-wheeler and a mobile phone from the accused.
According to police, the accused, K Mahesh is native of Vishakapatnam.
He used to procure contraband from D Monika and sold dry ganja at Medchal, Ghatkesar and Uppal surrounding areas specially targeting college-going students since few months. D Monika is found to be absconding.
