Ghanapur village turns hygienic

Parigi: DLPO Anitha Visited Ghanapur village in Kulkacharla mandal on Friday. She appreciated the villagers for maintaining clean and green under Swachh Bharat and Haritha Haram programmes. The village can be a model if flow of water onto the roads is prevented, she observed. She imposed Rs 500 on the parents of a boy, who was taking bath at the time of her inspection. The DPO explained that the water after the boy’s bath will flow on the road and spoil the surroundings. Village sarpanch and secretary were also present.
