The state High Court on Monday directed the election commission to announce the election result of Neredmet GHMC division dismissing the petition filed by BJP legal cell incharge Antony Reddy.
The state High Court on Monday directed the election commission to announce the election result of Neredmet GHMC division dismissing the petition filed by BJP legal cell in-charge Antony Reddy.
The court observed that the votes with different marks on the ballot paper can also be considered as they will also convey the intention of voters.
In Neredmet division, TRS candidate is leading with 504 votes. There was a dispute on 544 votes with different marks which have been resolved by the High Court.
The election for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation was held on December 1 and the result was announced on December 4.
