Harish distributes Ramzan gifts
TRS leader and former minister T Harish Rao on Tuesday distributed Ramzan festival gifts among the poor Muslims. He announced that soon the government would provide double bedroom housing facility and pensions to deserving poor.
Siddipet: TRS leader and former minister T Harish Rao on Tuesday distributed Ramzan festival gifts among the poor Muslims. He announced that soon the government would provide double bedroom housing facility and pensions to deserving poor.
Harish Rao said, "We have set up 300 English medium residential schools for Minorities". He also vowed to develop Siddipet as clean and green town in the days to come. For this, the State government needs support and cooperation from the people, he added.
The former minister said the TRS government would distribute Ramzan festival gifts among the poor Muslims across the State. The government asked the officials to give away these gifts to about 3 lakhs of poor Muslims in all districts.
On May 31, the government would organise Ifthar party for them across the State, he said, adding that the government was implementing welfare schemes for Muslims by spending huge funds.
