Hyderabad: Finance Minister T Harish Rao, AP Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister Botsa Satyanarayana and noted educationist Chukka Ramaiah on Sunday released a book titled 'Dasa-Disa,' penned by eminent Journalist and AP government Advisor K Ramachandra Murthy here on Sunday.

Participating in the book release function, former judge of Supreme Court Justice B Sudarahan Reddy said that holding panel discussions during troubled times is a bold effort and it was never done before.

"It tells the moral responsibility, trust on democracy and commitment of the author when police failed to maintain law and order," he said.

AP MA&UD Minister said that the book is a record of history in the backdrop of Andhra Pradesh bifurcation. He wished both States would progress in the future.

The Minister also stated that Chief Ministers of both States are jointly working for development.

Finance Minister T Harish Rao said the Dasa-Disa programme proved that solutions can be achieved through discussions, while some TV channels telecasted provoking debates during agitation time.

He also said future generations will know about the struggle. He recalled that Srikrishna Committee also submitted its report based on this programme.

Chukka Ramaiah heaped praises on Ramachandra Murthy saying he was not just an observer of the agitation, but also tried to deliver meaningful message to the people. He appealed to the State government to recognise his efforts.
