Heat wave warning for Telangana, Monsoon to delay by six days
- The temperature in Hyderabad will touch 42 degrees over the next few days.
- IMD issues heat wave warning to 16 districts in Telangana
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued heat wave to the people as monsoon likely to touch the state by June 19. As many as 16 districts in the state have been issued the warning by the IMD.
The weathermen predicted that monsoon would touch the state on June 12 and later it was delayed to June 16. However, the monsoon will now hit the state by June 19.
The officials said that the people will reel under an intense heat wave for the next two days with the temperature touching 42 degrees in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Mancherial, Kamareddy, Rajanna Sircilla, Peddapalli, Karimnagar, Khammam, Mahbubnagar and Warangal.
Meanwhile, Hyderabad which recorded 37.7 degrees on Wednesday is likely to touch 42 degrees over the next few days.
