Heavy rains affect normal life in Chevella

Chevella: The heavy rains along with gusty winds in the Shabad mandal in Rangareddy district wreak havoc on Monday. Apart from Shabad, Harijanawada, Kammariguda, Nagarkunta, Muddamguda and other villages were severely affected with the winds.

Roofs of many houses were blown off due to gales. Green Houses in Sunkappalliguda were damaged. Electricity poles in Kummariguda, Nagarguda, Pothugal, Mallareddyguddem, Antharam villages were severely damaged.

The poles from Nagarguda to Shabad were uprooted and the entire mandal plunged into darkness. A tree fell on a stationary car, damaging the vehicle. No on hurt in the incident.
