Hyderabad: The issuing of Haj application forms for ensuing Haj 2020 began here on Thursday.

Telangana Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali inaugurated the free online Haj application service for Haj – 2020 at Haj House, Nampally. He appreciated the arrangements for Haj pilgrims made by the Telangana State Haj Committee. He said that the Haj – 2019 was successful.

Haj Committee Chairman Masiullah Khan said that the Haj Application Form (HAF) will be received online from today till November 10. The applicants can fill the form on the Haj Committee of India's website as well as its Android mobile app. He also explain the details of Haj online process. He said that the login process at the website hajcommittee.gov.in is quite simple and requires only an email ID and password to create an account on the website. After that, the applicant will fill the form and attach passport, bank account, address proof, affidavit copies with the application form after scanning them. Those applying from a mobile phone can do so by downloading the app from the Google Play store.

The applicants then download the pay-in-slip to make the payment of Rs. 300 as application fee in the Haj Committee of India Mumbai SBI and Union Bank of India. The website also offers an e-payment facility.

Govt Whip in Legislative Council M. S. Prabhakar, SHC Executive Officer B. Shafiullah and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
