Hyderabad: The Cyber Crime personnel of Hyderabad on Wednesday arrested one person for posting objectionable comments on Disha on social media. The accused was identified as K Sainath alias Nani (22), a B Tech student from Guntur.

He posted objectionable comments on Disha under his Facebook ID 'Smiley Nani.' Some of his Facebook friends also made objectionable comments on his post and the police said search is on to nab them as well.

Based on a complaint, they registered a case under section 67 A of IT Act, 509 and 201 of IPC and took up investigation and on technical evidences arrested Sainath from Guntur and brought him to Hyderabad and produced him before Nampally court.

On the other hand, the Cyber Crime Police of Cyberabad arrested a 28-year-old man identified as Anil Kumar Ambala of Nalgonda for posting objectionable comment against a prominent woman dignitary on Facebook after the death of Disha.

On December 2, the Cyberabad Police received a complaint from Dr Vijaya Kesari, of Raidurgam in Hyderabad, wherein she complained that while she was browsing her Facebook account, she found a vulgar and objectionable comment by Anil Kumar Ambala on December 1, against a prominent woman dignitary in connection with the death of veterinary doctor.

In this regard, she filed a complaint and approached the police for taking necessary legal action against Anil Kumar Ambala. Based on the above complaint, a case was registered at Cyber Crime Police Station, Cyberabad under IT Act and was investigated into.

During the course of investigation, police identified that the accused who was living at Gundrampally in Nalgonda district has a Facebook account in the name of Anil Kumar Ambala.

The accused was apprehended at Gundrampally for posting objectionable and highly derogatory comments against a prominent woman and was produced before the Ninth Addl Metropolitan Magistrate Court.
