Hyderabad: A K Khan, Government Advisor (Minority Affairs), and Akbaruddin Owaisi, AIMIM Floor Leader, called on the Minister of Education, P Sabitha Indra Reddy, at her chambers on Friday.

During the meeting, they took to the notice of Minister the deplorable state of the Urdu medium schools which are being run without proper teachers. They hoped that the Minister would take up the matter of recruitment of the teachers in Urdu Medium Schools across the City. Later, Minister assured to resolve the problem.

AIMIM party MLAs Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri (Yakutpura), Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala (Malakpet), Mumtaz Ahmed Khan (Charminar), Jaffar Hussain Meraj (Nampally), Moazam Khan (Bahadurpura), Kausar Mohiuddin (Karwan) and MLCs Syed Amin-ul-Hassan Jaffery and Mirza Riyaz-ul-Hassan Effendi were part of the delegation.
