He added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the initiative to take yoga to the international stage to spread its benefits for the people of the whole world.

The Karimnagar MP said Yoga comes handy during the current crisis. "People facing the mental stress and lifestyle diseases need to adopt the practice of Yoga to improve their health," he stressed.

Meanwhile, the BJP State secretary Chinta Samba Murthy said that the party will stage protests before the Primary Health Centers (PHCs), District Medical Health Centres (DMHs) and other medical hospitals on Monday.

He said that the party has decided to stage protests strictly to highlight the failure and negligence of the State government in handling and containing the spread of the deadly disease in Telangana.

The party has also demanded to the State government, either to implement the Centrally-sponsored health insurance scheme Ayushman Bharat or include the Covid treatment under Arogyasri health scheme of the State government for the benefit of the poor and needy in Telangana.
