A blast was heard at PNM Life Sciences chemical factory at IDA Bollaram, Bachupally on Thursday evening resulting in injuries to three persons
Hyderabad: A blast was heard at PNM Life Sciences chemical factory at IDA Bollaram, Bachupally on Thursday evening resulting in injuries to three persons.
According to sources, the PNM Life Sciences is a chemical company where a reactor could have burst, due to which the sound was heard by the people residing 3 kms away from the factory.
Witnessing a dense and thick smoke erupting from the factory, the locales alerted the police and fire department.
According to police, upon receiving the information they arrived at the scene along with 5 fire tenders to douse off the fire. Apart from that, water tankers from HMWS&SB were also called in to supply more water. Exact cause of the blast is not yet known, but three persons were injured and the matter is being investigated.
