Hyderabad: Citizens Specialty Hospital, on the occasion of Women's Day, announced the launch of various health initiatives for the benefit of women of all ages. P Indira, the Additional DCP (Crimes), Cyberabad Commissionerate, and Bharatinagar corporator Sindu Adarsh Reddy graced the occasion as chief guests.

Dr Ravi Kiran, Facility Director & Medical Superintendent of American Oncology Institute & Citizens Hospitals, Dr Shashikanth, Operations Head, Citizens Hospitals, and others participated in the programme.

A day of health and well-being at the hospital saw participation by a lot of enthusiastic women actively participating in the programme. A special part of the event was the launch of 'Citizens Centre For Fetal Medicine' and a 'March for Her Health' specially designed health check-up packages for women such as: Well Women Check-up Package; Fertility Check-up; PCOS Check-up Package for Women that would encourage them to take control of their own and their family's health.

Speaking on the occasion Addl DCP Indira lauded the efforts of Citizens Hospitals genecologists team for launching specially designed health check-up packages for women, on the occasion of the International Women's Day

"The NIDO at Citizens Hospitals is our tribute to all that womanhood stands for. It offers women and their children an array of services including consultations, lab tests and woman wellness packages at special rates.

With this health screening packages, women can gain access to the best in maternity, gynaecology, paediatric and fertility health care services," said Dr Ravi Kiran. Citizens Hospitals gynaecologists Dr Anita Kunnaiha, Dr Radhika B, Dr Shweta Siwarkar, Dr Andal Reddy and Dr Anita Huparikar delivered awareness lectures on various health conditions related to women on the occasion.
