Hyderabad: A city based activist striving for Palestinian cause will be delivering a keynote address at the Al Quds International Virtual Conference, in which 150 organisations across the globe will be taking part on June 7. Being organised by a Turkey-based NGO, eminent international personalities and Palestinian activists will participate in the meet to commemorate the 53rd anniversary being remembered as 'illegal occupation' of Palestine by Israel.

Septuagenarian Syed Vicaruddin heads Indo Arab League Hyderabad as its chairman. Historically, the organisation played an important role as former Prime Ministers and Presidents including Indira Gandhi, P V Narasimha Rao, I K Gujaral, V P Singh, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Shankar Dayal Sharma and Giani Zail Singh addressed its public meetings held in the city. Vicaruddin who is also the Editor of one of the oldest Urdu daily, The Rahnuma-e-Deccan.
