Hyderabad: Condemning Priyanka Reddy's murder, Chilkur Balaji temple closed for 20 minutes
Condemning the killing of Veterinary doctor Priyanka Reddy, the authorities of Chilkur Balaji temple closed the darshans and Pradakshinas for 20 mins i.e, from 11 am to 11.20 am.

Later opening the temple, the temple priests made the devotees made a 'Mahapradakshina' raising slogan to protect the women. Expressing grief over Priyanka's death, priest Rangaranjan said that the crimes against the women are going on unabated regardless of the age. "Protection needed for nine-month-old baby girl to 80-year-old elderly women," he said adding that they prayed the Lord to protect the women.
He also appealed to respect the women in the state. Managing committee convenor Gopalakrishna, priests Kannaiah and Murali participated in the occasion.
