BN Reddy Nagar: Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) staged demonstration at NGOs Colony on Friday demanding that Central government withdraw NRC, CAA. They said building construction workers were suffering with hunger pangs. "Government should provide essential commodities to workers of unogranised sectors," they added.
CITU district vice president Kesari Narsi Reddy said the workers remained unemployed with the advent of Corona. He said the government should take measures to prevent workers falling prey to the virus. The activists distributed pamphlets sensitising people on the disadvantages of NPR, CAA and NRC.
A Yellaiah, CH Venkanna, M Veeraiah, Kumbam Janardhan, V Yadaiah, Yella Swamy, Lingaiah, Ramaiah and others were present.
