Hyderabad: A local court in Hyderabad sentenced 32-year-old Yadamma for life imprisonment in connection with a murder case and imposed a fine of Rs 4,000/-.
The accused woman along with her husband had murdered 60-year-old Nagalakshmi in March 2016.
The accused woman worked as domestic help in the house of Nagalakshmi and her husband Balasubramanyam worked as auto driver who would pick and drop the grandchildren of the senior citizen.
One fine day, the couple hatched a conspiracy to commit a theft from the residence of the senior citizen.
So, the husband asked for loan of Rs 2,000/- and when the woman went into her bedroom to give the money, the couple followed and strangulated her to death mercilessly.
After a lot of search and investigation the LB Nagar police was able to nab the woman, while the search for her husband is on.
