Hyderabad: Man booked for threatening to throw acid on woman

The SR Nagar police have registered a case against a man for allegedly threatening to throw acid at a woman for rejecting his love.

Kavitha, a software engineer is residing at a hostel in SR Nagar. The accused, identified as Shashank has been harassing the woman for some time to accept his love. On Monday night, Shashank went to her hostel and threatened to throw acid at her if she did not marry him.

Fearing of the accused's intention, the woman approached the SR Nagar police who registered a case against Shashank and are looking out for the accused.

On November 10, 2019 - Srinivas, who was residing at Vanasthalipuram threatened to throw acid at a woman and her parents if she rejects his marriage proposal.
