Hyderabad: MP A Revanth Reddy demands DGP's scalp

Hyderabad: Congress MP A Revanth Reddy on Saturday demanded that the State government remove Director General of Police Mahendar Reddy from his post in view of gang rape and murder of Disha. The MP visited Disha's house on Sunday and expressed condolences.

He said that he would raise the issue in the Parliament. He wanted to know the whereabouts of the SHE teams appointed for the security of the women. He alleged that Disha was murdered as the police did not respond on time. He wanted to know as to why Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao did not respond on the incident so far and described the Chief Minister as rock-hearted person. He criticised the Ministers and said that they were not human beings.
