Lingojiguda: Corporator Mudraboyina Srinivas Rao slammed Congress party leader Darpalli Rajasekhar Reddy for making false allegations on him regarding the delay of beautification works of Saroornagar Lake.
He said, "I am the person who made Mayor Bonthu Rammohan visit Green Park Colony and discussed about the problems. In that visit only, we discussed about walking track and later Mayor forwarded the requirement to MA&UD minister KTR and sanctioned Rs 16 crores for walking track development." He added that, "Darpalli is levelling allegations against me just for his political benefits. There is no truth in the statements which he made." He instructed contractor to finish the walking track works at the earliest.
