Hyderabad: No suspected case sent from RGIA to Fever Hospital so far
Thermal screening of all passengers from Hong Kong has been continuing at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad for last several days. The Hongkong-Hyderabad flights operates five days a week and it lands in Shamshabad at 12.45 am.

The plane from Hongkong has a capacity of over 240 passengers and all of them are being screened by the airport health officials deputed by the Union Health Ministry across all major airports.
Anuradha Medoju, Senior Regional Director for TS and AP, earlier stated that Hong Kong flights were being screened in view of train link between China and Hong Kong.
The Chinese authorities anyway are screening all passengers leaving to different countries from airports in various cities. After the Centre's directions, Chinese nationals and people who travelled to China recently and visiting Indian cities by boarding flights from Singapore and Thailand are being screened at the RGIA. Everyday two flights reach RGIA from Singapore and one from Bangkok.
The immigration authorities are scanning the passports of all passengers and those with China travel history or Chinese nationals are being told to undergo thermal screenings provided at the airport. These screenings have been going on for last one week.
Arrangements have been made to send any suspected case identified in thermal screenings at the airport directly to Fever Hospital, Nallakunta. According to the State nodal officer for coronavirus, till now no suspected case has been sent from airport to Fever Hospital.
