The Banjara Hills police sought the custody of former TV9 CEO Ravi Prakash from Nampally Court here on Wednesday.

After the arrest of Ravi on October 5, the police filed a petition seeking 10-day custody of Ravi Prakash. Currently, he is judicial remand at Chanchalguda jail.

Ravi Prakash has been arrested in connection with cheating Alanda Media. Ravi along with former finance officer is said to have transferred huge amounts from the official accounts of the new management without the consent of the shareholders, stated police in the remand report.

Based on the complaint of ABCL director G Singarao, the police arrested Ravi Prakash.
