Hyderabad: Retired employee of power department held for cheating on promise of jobs
A retired employee of Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSSPDCL) has been arrested for cheating the job seekers on the promise of offering a job in the power department.
A retired employee of Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSSPDCL) has been arrested for cheating the job seekers on the promise of offering a job in the power department.
Gokul Syam Sundar, who has been retired as an Additional AE made huge money on the promise of offering a job. The Vigilance department learned that Sundar is collecting money from the job seekers and complained to the Saifabad police who registered a case and took him into custody.
It is known that the TSSPDCL has announced 3025 posts for which the exam will be conducted on December 15 and 22. Syam Sundar assured that he would help them get more marks in the written examination and demanded Rs 3 lakh in return.
He collected Rs 1 lakh from each in advance. He also promised to return back the money if they did not qualified for the post.
