Hyderabad : Recently, a Telangana student has got admission in a famous American University to pursue Wildlife Sciences. Surya Deepika, currently in B.Sc Forestry, final year has got admission in Master of Science programme in School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences at University of Auburn, Alabama in America. Recognising her talent, the University offered the PG studies with 100 per cent waiver of the tuition fee. She was also offered Rs 1,500 US dollar scholarship every month.
She will now pursue higher studies under the guidance of Dr Janna Willoughby who is a well-known geneticist in the field of wildlife. Deepika from Rangareddy district is one among the top 5 students at the institute.
