Hyderabad: Two arrested for attack on Petlaburj Maternity hospital
The Afzalgunj police on Thursday arrested two persons for allegedly breaking the windowpanes of Petlaburj Maternity Hospital on Wednesday night and also trying to attack the on duty doctors, but was prevented by the security guards
Hyderabad: The Afzalgunj police on Thursday arrested two persons for allegedly breaking the windowpanes of Petlaburj Maternity Hospital on Wednesday night and also trying to attack the on duty doctors, but was prevented by the security guards.
According to city police, the duo Md Ashraf and Yousuf Qureshi were arrested for trying to attack the doctors at the hospital.
A C-section was performed for delivering a baby on Md Ashraf's wife of who was admitted in the hospital, but the baby was later declared dead.
The family alleged that the baby was dead due to the negligence of doctors and they started creating ruckus at the hospital.
Based on a complaint lodged by the hospital management, police arrested the duo and the matter is being investigated.
