Nampally: Telangana State Wakf Board Mohammed Saleem conducted a reviewed meeting with the all officers and standing council of the Waqf Board and discussed issues for protection of waqf properties and collection of rent and Wakf fund at Wakf Board office in Nampally on Saturday.

Mohammed Saleem has constituted special drive collection teams for collection of rent and Wakf fund from the entire Telangana State. He said that there was huge rent amount pending from the tenants of the Waqf properties and directed all tenants to clears the all pending dues as early as possible and to pay the rent amount to the collection teams. "If they fail to pay the dues, Board will initiate criminal action against them and take steps to remove them", said Saleem.

Further, he had discussed about the Court cases in High Court and other courts. He directed all Law officer to file the counter in the cases particularly in the landed waqf Prosperities cases and if necessary, Board will engage the senior advocates to defend the cases on behalf of Waqf Board, he added.

Later on, Mohammed Saleem also spoke to the Commissioner of Police Rachakonda to Co-operate with the waqf officer to protect the waqf properties and to provide police assistance to waqf officials on fields.

They also discussed the offering of Chader and Nazrana to the Dargah Khaja Gareeb Nawaz located in Ajmer on the occasion of annual Urs to be held in end of the month and he directed to prepare the Chader on behalf of Telangana state government as per previous practice.
