In the support 'go local' campaign, Begum Bazar in Hyderabad stopped selling Chinese goods. The decision has been taken after the clash at the border in which 20 soldiers were martyred.

Also, the storekeepers and Kirana merchants have decided to close their shops by 5 pm and 3 pm respectively in the view of the rising coronavirus cases in the state.

On Thursday, the Hyderabad General Merchants Association held a meeting and voluntarily decided to stop selling Chinese goods that include cosmetics, toys, novelties and other things. Around 800 merchants in the market sell Chinese goods. The association president said that they also decided to change the 'China Bazar' name boards on the stores.

Meanwhile, all the Kirana shop merchants in Feelkhana, Begum Bazar, Siddamber Bazar and Osman Gunj areas have decided to hold their business from 9 am to 3 pm in the view of the prevailing coronavirus situation.
