IIT student jumps to death from hostel building in Hyderabad
A student pursuing Engineering third year of Computer Science IIT-Hyderabad committed suicide by jumping from the hostel building.
A student pursuing Engineering third year of Computer Science IIT-Hyderabad committed suicide by jumping from the hostel building. A student named Siddhartha took the final plunge on Tuesday at 3:26 am. The staff and students who identified him were rushed to Continental Hospital for treatment.
After declared death, the body was taken to Gandhi hospital for postmortem. Siddhartha hometown is Qutubbulapur. The college management informed the deceased parents. It is reported that Siddhartha emailed to some of his friends before committing suicide.
He wrote in the email that he was falling behind in his studies and that he could not make a living. Fellow students say that Siddhartha was an introvert who doesn't speak much and mingle with people.
