A police inspector's wife, Renuka, along with her three children attempted suicide by setting themselves ablaze at the camp office of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate at LB Nagar on Monday
Hyderabad: A police inspector's wife, Renuka, along with her three children attempted suicide by setting themselves ablaze at the camp office of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate at LB Nagar on Monday.
According to the Hayathnagar police, in December 2018 a complaint was lodged by one Rita against Renuka, stating that she had lured her husband Rajaiah, police inspector at Sangareddy police station.
On this, both the women used to quarrel with each other frequently. Police also said, Rajaiah divorced his first wife and later when he was working in the Tandur police station, he married Renuka.
Out of their wedlock they have three children. But later he stopped visiting his wife Renuka and children.
Renuka lodged a complaint against inspector Rajaiah that he was not looking after her and children.
But Rajaiah by using his influence bailed himself out of the case. Later, he allegedly married Rita.
She lodged a complaint with police against Renuka under SC/ ST Act. Police are investigating.
