ITDA contract teachers launch hunger strike seeking renewal of services in Bhadrachalam

The contract teachers, working in tribal schools run by Integrated Tribal Development Agency, whose services were not renewed this year have started a relay hunger strike on the ITDA office premises on Tuesday.
Bhadrachalam: The contract teachers, working in tribal schools run by Integrated Tribal Development Agency, whose services were not renewed this year have started a relay hunger strike on the ITDA office premises on Tuesday.
They met Zilla Parishad chairman K Kanakaiah and Local MLA Podem Veeraiah demanding redressal of their issues. They also submitted a memorandum to the ZP chairman Kanakaiah and appealed him for the renewal of their services this year. The contract teachers Kishore, Ramana, Krishna and others took part in the strike.
