Hyderabad: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad (JNTU-H) which would be conducting the TS EAMCET-2019 decided to organise awareness programmes on Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

The CBT method will be utilised for common entrance tests for Engineering, Agriculture, Pharmacy etc., for academic year 2019-20.

Prof Dr N Yadaiah, Convener, TS EAMCET-2019 said the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has introduced CBT mode in conducting EAMCET from last year.

It was against this backdrop that the JNTU-H decided to organise the awareness meetings from 17th April to 25th April for the benefit of candidates appearing for the TS EAMCET 2019 examination.

The awareness meeting venues will be in the districts so as to give benefit to candidates studying in rural areas. The candidates are encouraged to participate in the awareness programme at locations convenient for them, he added.

Prof Yadaiah said that the programme is meant to create awareness among the candidates about the CBT procedures that includes login to start the test, selection of subjects, the procedure for answering the questions, usage of various fields on the screen and other activities that can be performed during the examination using computers.
