Former Minister says he is taking rest at his friend’s house as he is suffering from low blood pressure

Hyderabad: Former Minister Jogu Ramanna on Tuesday said he has no intention to quit TRS and gave clarification that he was at his friend's house to take rest as he was suffering from low blood pressure.

The TRS leader had reportedly not been in touch with the family members since Sunday. Ramanna, however, told media persons that there was no truth in the propaganda that he was unhappy over the denial of ministerial post.

"We were vacating the minister's quarters after I could not get Minister's post. Our children were in the process of shifting. My health was not good as I was down with low BP.

Hence, I decided to take rest at my friend's house," said Ramanna. Ramanna further said that it was because of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao he got the opportunity to serve people as Minister.

"KCR gave me respect and I will remain grateful to the TRS president," said Ramanna.
