Ramannapet (Yadadri-Bhongir): Nakrekal MLA Chirumarthi Lingaiah stated that government has been giving equal priority to welfare and developmental activities in the State.
He distributed Shaadi Mubarak and Kalyana Lakshmi cheques to 27 beneficiaries at a programme held at mandal parishad office in Ramannapet on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said the innovative programmes of the State government have been grabbing the attention of chief ministers of other States in the country.
Stating that government was striving for social justice, he advised the people to utilise government schemes for their well-being.
Safe drinking water to every household being supplied under Mission Baghiratha scheme, he said, adding that lakhs of acres of agricultural lands in erstwhile Nalgonda district were going to get irrigation facility under Kaleshwaram project.
In this programme, MPPs K Yellamma, R Mallikarjun Reddy, Tahsildar Bramaiah and beneficiaries participated.
