The pilot project launched in Chintamadaka will extend to entire State
Chintamadaka: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Monday announced the launch of the Telangana Health Profile project, a comprehensive health evaluation of every individual in the state, from his native village Chintamadaka in Siddipet district.
As part of the day-long stay in his native village, KCR interacted with the people and inaugurated several developmental programmes. It was the first official visit by KCR to Chintamadaka after assuming office of the chief minister in 2014.
Speaking at the meeting, KCR said the health profile project would be extended to entire Siddipet district as a pilot project. Based on the experience and feedback, the government will take up the project across the state and will cover every individual.
KCR had made the promise of the health profile project during the poll campaign under which the health data of each individual would be preserved with the government.
After health checks are completed, required treatment will be provided to the needy, he said, adding that the conduct of second round eye testing camp in the village will also begin soon.
The Chief Minister asserted the status of people's health will display the prosperity of the village. People can live happily only when proper medical treatment and awareness on health was provided.
Chintamadaka is a 100 per cent Vaastu-compliant village by having water bodies on four corners, the CM said, adding that he owed to the village for his political success and achieving statehood for Telangana through a peaceful struggle.
He wanted to see the village as a role model in the development in Telangana state and requested the local people to cooperate in the execution of the developmental programmes.
Former minister and MLA T Harish Rao requested the Chief Minister to earmark more funds for the development of the villages in Siddipet district. Medak MP K Prabhakar Reddy and others were present.
