Hyderabad: TRS supremo and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is getting ready to make his active presence in national politics after the completion of general elections for 17 Lok Sabha constituencies to be held on April 11 in Telangana state.
The Lok Sabha elections in Telangana are scheduled in the first phase of the total seven phases as announced by the Election Commission.
In all likelihood, KCR will unveil his "India – Vision" document, prepared as part of his proposed Federal Front, an alternative to Congress and BJP at national level, in April third week. A top TRS leader said that the TRS chief will shift his base temporarily to the national capital for at least two weeks after elections in Telangana to meet several leaders and attend the election campaigns in some states.
As the Samajwadi Party (SP) Akilesh Yadav already announced his readiness to sail with the Federal Front, the TRS chief will take part in poll campaign in some segments in the northern states of India. "KCR has already prepared a vision document envisaging to achieve inclusive growth by utilising the existing infrastructure and available natural resources at the optimum level.
The document containing 30 to 40 pages will explain in detail how India will beat China, Malaysia and other fast-developing countries in Asia," a senior leader said that the TRS chief prepared the document in consultation with several noted economists, agriculturalists and experts in the health, education and rural development.
The Telangana CM already explained the availability of abundant water resources and the solution to address irrigation crisis, abandoned power generation units and its potential in making use of them for industrial growth and the necessity of strengthening of road and navigational transportation systems in the country to register a robust economic growth.
All these issues will be mentioned in the vision document with specific recommendations. KCR will also touch upon the issues mainly the transfer of concurrent issues like education and health under the state purview, according powers to the states in the finalisation of quota in education and employment to the local poor in proportionate to their population in the Federal Front's vision document.
KCR is likely to release the Federal Front's vision document in New Delhi after meeting some likeminded leaders. The TRS chief wanted to stay in Delhi for 10 days or the last two weeks of April.
A senior leader said that the CM will visit Uttar Pradesh and take part in the campaign along with Akhilesh Yadav.
TRS working president KT Rama Rao already said that KCR is to take up pan-India visit during the elections. Depending on the local political equations, the TRS chief will visit West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Odisha and Karnataka and address some election rallies.
