Khammam: AISF takes out rally seeking faculty, facilities in schools
The members All India Students Federation (AISF) district committee on Monday took out a huge rally in Khammam from Pavilion Grounds to DEO office demanding the government to solving the students’ issues.
Khammam: The members All India Students Federation (AISF) district committee on Monday took out a huge rally in Khammam from Pavilion Grounds to DEO office demanding the government to solving the students' issues.
After the rally, the members laid siege to District Educational Officer (DEO) office and raised slogans against the government. Speaking on the occasion, Federation's district secretary I Rama Krishna said students were facing hardships in schools due to lack of basic facilities besides absence of adequate number of teachers.
He demanded the government to provide all necessary facilities in schools besides textbooks and uniform to students. He also requested the government to implement Right to Education Act in toto.
After the siege programme, the Federation leaders submitted a memorandum to DEO. A large number of students attended the programme.
Federation district president M Laxman, leaders Madhu, Subhan, Hareesh, Arun, Jai, Sravan Kumar, Swathi, Mounika, Meghana, Keerthi and others attended the programme.
