Khammam: All measures taken to prevent corona spread says Collector Karnan
After a resident of Saritha Clinic centre in the city was tested positive of coronavirus on Monday, District Collector RV Karnan visited the centre on Tuesday and explained the measures to be taken to prevent corona spread
Khammam: After a resident of Saritha Clinic centre in the city was tested positive of coronavirus on Monday, District Collector RV Karnan visited the centre on Tuesday and explained the measures to be taken to prevent corona spread.
He observed the centre premises and sanitation works.
Later the Collector inspected vegetable and meat markets set up on the NSP camp office. He also interacted with fish vendors.
Karnan asked the people not to get panic over the increasing corona cases and assured that the government took all measures to prevent the virus. Following lockdown rules, maintaining social distance, wearing masks and personal hygiene are very important, he added.
Corporation Chief Anurag Jayanthi, District Health Officer Dr Malathi, Dr Koti Ratnam, doctors and corporation staff have accompanied the Collector.
