Khammam Collector inspects 30 days action plan works
District Collector R V Karnan has inspected the execution of 30 days action plan programme in the villages in and around the district.
Khammam: District Collector R V Karnan has inspected the execution of 30 days action plan programme in the villages in and around the district. As part of the programme on Tuesday he inspected Garika Padu village under Wyra Mandal in the district.
The Collector conducted door to door visits in the village. He interacted with the villagers and asked them about the issues, he also questioned about the programme. The villagers reportedly expressed happiness over the programme.
Speaking on the programme, Collector said everyone should clean their house premises and villages also. He informed the villagers that it is a good programme conducted by the government and everyone should know the uses of the programme and how the programme would help the villages.
He asked them to not use stored water, and also advised that they immediately dispose of stored water in the house premises. He said for prevent of seasonal disease they should use mosquito mats in the houses. He ordered the panchayat officer to conduct mosquito fogging in the villages.
He asked the villagers to go plastic free and said everyone should know how diseases come by use of plastic. He said everyone should support the plastic free movement to make the district plastic free in coming days. He said from Wednesday onwards single use plastic should be prohibited across the district.
After observing the village, he expressed satisfaction over the implementation of 30 days action plan works. He also observed the ANM building and promised to start repair works soon. Collector ordered the officials to identify dumping yard place and cremation grounds immediately.
He also visited Haribabu who was selected IRS from the village during his visit. Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Priyanka, Mandal Parishad Development Officer (MPDO) K Ram Mohan Rao, Sarpach Aleesha, ZPTC Kanaka Durga, MPP Pavani, MPTC M Sundaramma, Vice Sarpanch Veeraiah, Secretary Panchyat Radha Krishna, and Health staff attended the programme along with the Collector.
