Khammam: Collector inspects RTC buses, reviews strike situation
District Collector RV Karnan has inspected buses in Khammam town on Thursday and interacted with the passengers and sought to know their issues.

After checking the tickets of the passengers, the Collector instructed the temporary drivers and conductors not to cause any inconvenience to the passengers during traveling.
Later, he conducted a special meeting with the RTC regional manager Krishna Murthy and ITI College Principal Prabhakar Rao and other officers in his chamber.
After reviewing the situation of an ongoing RTC strike in the district, he asked the ITI college Principal to immediately appoint mechanics, computer operators and electricians in the bus depots.
He also ordered the revenue and transport officers to support the staff for the smooth running of bus services in all villages in the district.
District Joint Collector Anurag Jayanthi, transport officer Krishna Reddy, industrial officer Krishna Rao, administrative officer (Collectorate) Madan Gopal and others attended the meeting.
