The irrigation department is said to be providing two helipads each at three barrages of Medigadda, Annaram and Sundilla.
HYDERABAD: For the easy access and safety of Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project (KLIP), the irrigation department is said to be providing two helipads each at three barrages of Medigadda, Annaram and Sundilla.
On Tuesday, the Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, reviewed the project works and had directed the officials of the irrigation department to construct quarters for engineers, other staff of irrigation and power utilities apart from watch towers at the barrages and pump houses.
The project works and trial wet run of two pumps (Package 6) were completed recently. The state government has also planned to make Kaleshwaram sites a tourist spots by involving with the multinational companies. Along with this, the state government has plans to provide railway connectivity from Ramagundam to Kaleshwaram for attracting tourists.
