Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has issued notification for conducting final phase of counselling (Mop-up round) for filling up the vacant MBBS seats under Convener quota in government and private and minority medical colleges in the State.

Hyderabad: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has issued notification for conducting final phase of counselling (Mop-up round) for filling up the vacant MBBS seats under Convener quota in government and private and minority medical colleges in the State.

Candidates were asked to exercise web options from August 25 (Sunday) 6 pm onwards until 5 pm on August 26. All candidates in the final merit list displayed on varsity website are eligible to exercise options.

Candidates who have secured admissions and joined in the previous phases of counselling and continuing in the course in colleges under the university who wish to slide to other college / course also can exercise their options.

Also, candidates who have been allotted MBBS seats, as per their options, in the second and third phase of counselling and have not joined or dropped out after joining at respective colleges, however, are not permitted to exercise web options.

In all there are nearly 100 vacant MBBS seats with around 25 of them in government medical colleges while the rest in private medical colleges.

In the third phase of counselling, EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) quota of 95 seats and also the left - over national pool seats (61 seats) were filled.
