Ramannapet (Yadadri-Bhongir): Congress Bhongir MP candidate Komatireddy Venkat Reddy along with his brother and Munugodu MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy launched the poll campaign after having the darshan of Lord Sri Laxminarasimha Swamy at Balalayam in Yadadri on Tuesday.

Addressing the party leaders and cadre at Ramannapet, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy stated that people of Bhongir constituency must teach Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, who was supporting the BJP at the Centre, a lesson in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

He mocked at TRS government over not completing the Brahmmana Vellemla Lift Irrigation Project designed by the Congress government to provide water to fluoride-hit areas in mandals of Nalgonda, Nakrekal, Munugodu and Tunagaturthi.

He raised questions over the development activities being carried out in Nalgonda in the last four months and recalled the CM KCR's constituency adoption promise made during the Assembly elections.

He expressed his concern over Nakrekal MLA Chirumarthi Lingaiah shifting loyalties to TRS, and slammed him for his move. Reiterating that Komatireddy bothers were committed for the development of Nakrekal constituency, Komatireddy senior called upon the party cadre to strive to make the party success in the upcoming polls.

Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy recalled his services to Bhongir constituency during his tenure as a Member of Parliament. Stating that Munugodu and Nakrekal constituencies were the two eyes to him, Rajgopal urged the people of Nakrekal constituency to teach lesson to leaders who betrayed the party in the name of development.

He urged party leaders and cadre to participate in filing of nomination papers by his brother Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on March 22. Congress party leader Addanki Dayakar and a large number of party's local leaders and workers accompanied the Komatireddy brothers.
