Kothagudem: Kalyana Lakshmi cheques worth 15 lakh distributed
Local legislator Vanama Venkateswara Rao stated that people in the State were happy under the rule of Telangana Rashtra Samithi government.
Kothagudem: Local legislator Vanama Venkateswara Rao stated that people in the State were happy under the rule of Telangana Rashtra Samithi government. On Wednesday, he handed over the Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak cheques to the beneficiaries in Kothagudem.
The event was also attended by Yellandhu MLA Banoth Haripriya. Speaking on the occasion, Vanama said no other government in the country other than the TRS government has implemented so many schemes for the welfare of its people.
He said schemes Shaadi Mubarak and Kalyana Lakshmi were being implemented only in Telangana.
Yellandhu MLA added that as part of transforming the State into Bangaru Telangana, the Chief Minister has introduced many welfare schemes for the benefit of people of every section of the society. The MLAs distributed cheques worth Rs 15 lakh to the beneficiaries during the programme.
Zilla Parishad vice-chairman K Chandra Sekhar, Mandal Parishad president Shantha and others attended the programme.
