Kothagudem: SP Sunil Dutt directs cops to create awareness on cybercrime
District Superintendent of Police Sunil Dutt on Tuesday directed cops to conduct awareness programmes for prevention of cyber crimes in the district.
Kothagudem: District Superintendent of Police Sunil Dutt on Tuesday directed cops to conduct awareness programmes for the prevention of cyber crimes in the district. He was addressing a meeting of police officials at his office.
Before the meeting, the SP reviewed the cybercrime in the district.
He said every police officer should be alert on the cyber cases. He said the cyber criminals adopt many ways to cheat people. The police officers should conduct awareness programmes in their respective police station limits and educate the people on cyber crimes.
He added the police officers can take help of the IT core team to solve cybercrime cases.
Later SP Sunil Dutt handed over Rs 50,000 worth cheque to the deceased constable family in his chamber. The SP interacted with the constable family on the occasion and told them that the amount was given from the Police Associatin Sangam.
Police Association Sangam president Srinivas Rao, AO Venkateswarlu, and other staff attended the programme.
