Kothagudem: Vanama distributes Kalyana Lakshmi, Shaadi Mubarak cheques
Local MLA Vanama Venkateswara Rao has distributed Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak cheques to the beneficiaries at Chinchupally mandal in Kothagudem on Friday.
Kothagudem: Local MLA Vanama Venkateswara Rao has distributed Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak cheques to the beneficiaries at Chinchupally mandal in Kothagudem on Friday.
He distributed cheques worth nearly Rs 14 lakh to 15 beneficiaries. Speaking on the occasion, the MLA stated that no government had implemented such unique schemes in the country except the Telangana government and urged the people to utilise the various schemes implemented by the government for their welfare.
He further added that women were happy receiving the cheques under the scheme.
"Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is striving for the development of the State and its people and in this regard, he had decreased the age limit for old age pension from 65 years to 57 years," Vanama added.
Chinchupally MPP B Santhi, MPTC Saraswathi, Sarpanch Murthy, Tahsildar NVLD Bhavani and others participated in the programme.
