Sircilla: After achieving success in all sectors, Telangana State is heading towards all-round development and becoming a role model for the entire nation, stated IT Minister KT Rama Rao. He hoisted the national flag at the Collectorate here on Tuesday on State Formation Day and paid rich tributes to Telangana Martyrs.

Later, the Minister participated in Pattana Pragathi programme and inspected sanitation works in various divisions and also enquired the residents of several colonies about the problems they are facing with. Minister KTR ordered the Municipal Chairperson and Municipal Commissioner to resolve all the issues the people are facing in various colonies present in the town.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister KT Rama Rao said that after achieving separate statehood for Telangana, within short span of just six years, the State has shown enormous growth in all sectors and stood as an example in the country, especially in terms of irrigation, power sectors, production of crops and introducing several welfare schemes for various sections of people along with perfect implementation. He appealed all the officials and party cadre to work with the same spirit to place the Telangana in top position in all the sectors.

Later, IT Minister KTR inspected construction works of under tunnel, lining and pump house works under Package-9 of Kaleshwaram project in Konaraopet mandal and ordered the irrigation officials to speed up the works and complete them before Dasara festival.

District Collector D Krishna Bhaskar, SP Rahul Hegde, ZP Chairperson N Aruna, Municipal Chairperson G Kala, Libraries Chairman A Shankaraiah and district FCC coordinator G Narsaiah were present along with others.
