As part of ongoing Haritha Haram programme, the Ladies Club and Singareni Employees Wives Seva Samithi conducted the plantation drive at Banglow House in Kothagudem district.
Khammam: As part of ongoing Haritha Haram programme, the Ladies Club and Singareni Employees Wives Seva Samithi conducted the plantation drive at Banglow House in Kothagudem district. The members of the club planted a number of saplings on the premises.
Speaking on the occasion, the club president Padmaja Shanker informed that the Singareni Collieries Company Limited has planned to plant one crore saplings this season. This plantation drive was a part of that programme.
She also said, the club has plans to plant saplings at various places in the coal town. Club secretary Sridevi Srinivas and other members of the club participated in the programme.
