Mahbubnagar: The members of Communist party of India in Mahbubnagar staged a protest at Telangana crossroad junction against the Central government for allowing private mobile companies like Jio, Idea, Airtel and Videophone to hike mobile tariffs by 50 percent.

While speaking to media, Paramesh Goud, CPI district secretary Mahbubnagar, said that the State and central governments have miserably failed in controlling the already increasing prices of daily use commodities like dal and onions, on top of this, the State and Central governments were allowing private corporate mobile companies to increase the mobile tariffs by 50 per cent, which will be a huge burden on the common man, said the CPI district secretary.

The CPI leader also criticised the State government over hiking bus fares. He said instead of solving the RTC workers issues at the beginning, the TRS government instigated them to go for strike and in that guise now the government has increased bus fares and burdened the common man. The people were watching the tactics of the government and definitely they will teach a lesson to the TRS government very soon, opined the CPI leader.
